Re: Your Favourite Team Goals
There's plenty more but this shot straight in to my head.
Also Nasri's second in the 2-1 win against Manchester United in 2008. Can't find the full build up anywhere though.

Re: Your Favourite Team Goals
Does booting it up to Drogba and having him score count as a team goal?

He's looking for beautiful finishes, so the answer to your question is no.Ted wrote:Does booting it up to Drogba and having him score count as a team goal?
Something more along the lines of, taking under control a wonderfully weighted/crafted defence splitting pass, then not panicking and attempting to smash it in first time near post on the weak foot at the 4 players on the line (3 defenders & goalkeeper), but calmly rolling it back and taking 3 of the 4 players completely out of the game ... then spotting the opening and slotting it home with ease with a tremendous whip on the ball to avoid the 4 obstacles.
All, in a matter of seconds.
All this, having only travelled up from Liverpool the previous morning where you'd just scored a screamer at the KOP End in Europe to put your minnow team ahead and getting little or no sleep in the process, something that takes skill and true determination to be able to successfully pull off.
So please, now provide a suitable goal.

That's a FIFA counter attack if I've ever seen one. Even sweaty goal at the end.Mal wrote:

For me is this.
Salcido to Gio, Gio with a back heel to Hernandez, Hernandez with a back heel to de Nigris, de Nigris leaves it on a platter for Gio...goaaaaaaal!

Re: Your Favourite Team Goals
USA won't ever score goals off of intricate pass and move sequences. But the goal we scored against Brazil was brilliantly measured and executed. Three passes, five touches of the ball to go from the top of our own 18 yard box to the back of the goal.

Best goal I've ever seen scored against us.
This, because after Hodgson, I forgot what passing the ball was..

Re: Your Favourite Team Goals
To be a real team goal everyone should get a touch so if the keeper does not touch it then it does not count.

There a goal that Dani Parejo scored while he was Getafe that I want to find, but it seems to have disappeared off the internet.
