Tbh I think the whole system is fucked. It'd be great if higher education was available for those who earned it on merit rather than their ability to fill in an application form.
Oh yeah, they'd need to sort it out. Fuck the surfing, football history and computer, software and robotics courses. They're a waste of time. Make Uni hard to get into, but make it free. Everyone deserves a chance of the highest education possible, but they have to earn it.

Yea, if only there were a series of tests you had to pass to get into University. In fact the way you're talking about eans its those who come from rich families who can attend Uni rather than those with the most ability.
If all the shit universities didn't exist, just the proper ones that still require top grades to get in then my views on the tuition fees would be different. However, the majority of people don't/can't get into the top universities so they flood all of these shitty polytechnic unis.
You can be thick as pig shit and still get into university.
