Paralympic classifications or categories or whatever are confusing. Ellie Simmonds is half the size of all the girls she's swimming against yet she's the only one that can walk, the rest were brought out in wheelchairs.

Yeah, I was watching cycling the other day, the more "disabled" you are (it's split into 3 categories), the more seconds get taken off your time.

Classification
C5 – athletes with difficulties when walking and running, but not when standing or kicking a ball.

C6 – athletes with control and coordination problems of their upper limbs, especially when running.

C7 – athletes with coordination problems in one arm and leg on the same side of the body.

Yea, I always feel really bad when Im watching a Paralympian being interviewed and all I can think of is what the fuck is his disability. I think thats kind of against the spirit
