Okay, who prefers this layout?

I like it.

The 2nd layout looks much, much better.

That main image in the middle works as a slideshow, so you could have 2 or 3 featured articles on the home page

Harrold would you like me to do an overview of each round of fixtures in the PL? I could also chip in with a focus on Chelsea?

What sort of articles do you want? Transfer news? Match reports? What else?

Is there a min/max amount of articles you can post? Like if you wrote 3 in a day, would you put them all up?

I can't be having a Kopite or manc ruin my bias for Everton.

I think there's room for as many as you want but if we're keeping the 2nd layout, only a handful can be featured at the same time. But with more articles overall I'd be able to add an archive/categories of all the posts made.

I think there's room for as many as you want but if we're keeping the 2nd layout, only a handful can be featured at the same time. But with more articles overall I'd be able to add an archive/categories of all the posts made.

If it picked up it'd be nice to have one for each club a week.

Just a quick question having read through some of the responses, is this blog designed to be club based, where people submit updates and weekly news on their club, or is it more general, with entries being on anything to do with football.

I'd like to do something mainly about Arsenal.

I like the idea of match reports and deadline day for Everton.

Any size limitations? min/max for text ect.

I think having people have a certain subject stops people writing impulsive articles and then haing two people writing on the same subject?

Yeah that's sort of what I was thinking. I asked because I was thinking that I wouldn't like to see an informative article on goal-line technology, or about why the German league is so well attended or *blah blah*(just examples) being swamped by articles about what club 'X' has been up to over the past week or matchday reports.

I want it to have a somewhat professional feel to it.

That post was for BladeGunner.

Any sort of one-offs I think would be wise to run it by just to stop 2 or more people writing about it. Unless like the Goal-line technology it's opposing views.

For people writing articles you can submit them by sending them to Blog@the-playmaker.com so they can enter the reviewing stage.
