If you mean that's why Islam forbids betting, that's not really the reason why. Somethings are lawful but don't guarantee a profit either. The reasons as to why gambling is forbidden is because of it's addictive element and destruction of lives, it's dependency on chance rather than hard and lawful work, and it's unlawful business nature.

Some people like the thrill. Though I do agree that it may become quite disastrous.

Made 5 bets in the beginning of the EPL season and never lost one.

I'm just REALLY unlucky, I've been losing way more than I should do based on odds. The point of betting huge on low odds is that it's supposed to be a safe bet. But yeah........it's really not always that safe

I'm packing in betting like this until I get a job at the very least, I might still do some very small bets and some small stakes poker but that's it really.

You bet £70 with no job? That's made it about ten times worse! I feel guilty putting a fiver on with a full time job!
