Don't know how bad Aguero is also. He did walk off the pitch, then get on the stretcher after, so hopefully not too bad.

I think it's perfectly fair of me to assume that most players who remain in the lower divisions until their late twenties are somewhat lacking on a technical level or else they would have made it at the highest level. Players like Jason Scotland, Marlon King, Sylvain Ebans-Blake and countless others, all of them thrived in the Championship but failed to make the grade at the Premier League due to a lack of technical ability. It's not snobbish of me to make that assumption, that is the reality. Yes, there are exceptions like Lambert but that is all they are; exceptions.
I think people like Uncle John like to pretend that they are being looked down upon by "Premier League fans" because deep down they feel that their club isn't really relevant and they try to compensate. He really ought to deal with his own insecurities instead of taking it out on me needlessly.

I wish. Couldn't justify the hundred odd quid it'd cost to get there though.Zzonked wrote:I also took a picture of Jordi, look at him sat over there.
This, just Lambert is a much more rounded player than Holt. He actually has technical ability.Harrold wrote:I thought Blade made a fair assumption that they could be similar.Gegilworld93 wrote:No idea what was so bad about Blade's comment
Holt is poor technically and Lambert's solid at least; no idea why Football League fans got upset over that

When the away club gets tickets are they allocated which tier they will be in or is it just pot luck? Would be awesome if you got given a ticket on the front row of the top tier for the same price as someones paid to be in the bottom tier.Zzonked wrote:I also took a picture of Jordi, look at him sat over there.
I've wondered this about several clubs that give away fans 2 tiers of a stand. Usually costs more to go in the upper but that'd be unfair if it was randomly assigned and you ended up having to pay more without being able to choose.

Sergio Aguero @aguerosergiokun
The studies I had done revealed there's no significant injury but it was a very tough hit to my knee.
As expected.

Why cant you just accept that when players are shit for you, they can move on to bigger levels, change of manager etc and do well?

He was shit for Copenhagen and shit yesterday. He can't cut it at 'bigger levels.' He has only performed at a lower level than Celtic (on loan at a worse team where his ineptitude was not so noticeable among inferior players).
We are still better than Southampton - Kelvin Davis, Danny Fox (our reject), Hooiveld (our reject), Guly - for all their summer bravado they still have a mediocre team. The only player of theirs who would make our team is Lambert and maybe Lallana.
