He was fantastic today and ran the show at the Emirates last season in the 2-2 draw. Scored a fantastic goal too

Yeah, how dare he want to move up and try and prove himself at a higher level. Shame on him.

I think Arteta is better. Pienaar is a good player at Everton level and thats all tbh.

Right now Pienaar is miles ahead of Arteta, he has had a shocking season and probably had the worst game I've ever seen him have today. When they're both at their best I reckon they're about even

On another note I'm glad Wenger didn't start/bring on Walcott. He would've destroyed us

I don't blame him for wanting to play in the Champion's League, but I do think its pretty shitty that he let his deal run out so that Everton get nothing in return for a player that really only reached his current form due to Moyes and the club.

    "Right now"

Arteta has only played good once this season - against Liverpool. Other than that all he has been doing is picking the ball up from the centre halves and passing it sideways (basically what Lucas does), not clearing the first man on his corners and banging his free kicks straight into the wall. So yeah, right now Pienaar is miles ahead of Arteta.
