Yeah. Went with my Uncle to buy his shopping, never even knew the deal was on.

Re: Black Ops 2
To be fair. I don't imagine it's easy to actually drastically improve a first person shooter. Besides tweaks, graphical improvements, and extra content(DLC, New Maps, weapons ect.)most first person shooters haven't changed much since the days of Golden Eye.
I'm talking about why most people play first person shooters by the way. Multiplayer.
Take single player away from a FPS and your basically playing the same game you've been playing for the last 10 years.

Why are you fucking surprised? It's how Call of Duty has been since 3 or 4.
Which is why.. if you were badass back then, you are badass at it now. For me anyways.
You shouldn't have gone into it thinking it would be a drastic change.. or a change at all, especially when they throw out these CoD games every 6 months like spastic fucks.

I'm fine with that. I really don't know what more people want. The concept is what it is.

I haven't bought it. I'm just guessing that it's the same pointless shit.

That's not true...The multiplayer experience on BF3 way better than Bad Company 2, for instance.

Saw some BOps2 footage. Looks more like older MW in this one.

Interactions with the world you're playing in, such as driving a tank, flying a plane/helicopter. Since COD doesn't have this, it could use a destructible environment or interactive maps.
I'll pick this up later I think.

Re: Black Ops 2
Basically it could try and be like Battlefield, but with the fast paced nature of COD that wont happen, it's not what the people that buy it really want, Battlefield and COD are different for reasons.Bushido wrote:Ché Guayaba wrote:To be fair. Re: Black Ops 2
Why would they want to drastically change the best selling game on the market right now...
Also, might end up getting this only because everyone I know is gunna get it. My dad might end up just buying it.

Probably, but then the majority of the public are idiots and are happy to be fed the same shit again and again.Jorlung wrote:And it still will probably be the highest grossing video game this year...
It will collapse though, just like Tony Hawks and Guitar Hero.

Re: Black Ops 2
The engine they use is a modified I3 engine from 1998Bushido wrote:Bye_Ya wrote:
Change doesn't always need to be there. COD4 was a masterpiece. Add a few maps in the old style, and it's still a golden game even today. The first Gears of War was another one, everything that came after completely destroyed the game.
I agree that change isn't always great. My problem with COD is the engine they use, plus it comes out yearly. If COD had the frostbite engine or Unreal engine then it would be unbelievable. However it doesn't so it's just the same game over and over again.

Where did you see this? That would make it the 5th biggest selling xbox game ever in a day which seems unlikely.Templeton7|RFC wrote:Black Ops 2 has sold 9million copies already.

Magic 103.5 FM @Magic1035
In just its first 24 hours of sales, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 managed to sell 9 MILLION COPIES! To compare....
They posted it twice, one says 8 and the other 9.
But there are loads more people talking about it, it's the biggest selling game of release date ever.

I'm surprised it's outsold Black Ops and MW2 mind.

What's the downside of wearing camouflage suits. I'm on story mode btw.
Surely there's no point turning it off?
