Refs on the new Fifa?

I honestly can't see myself buying it if the referees are blowing up every two seconds like in 12. Pro Evos refs this year seem extremely good so perhaps I'll buy that this year instead. Wbu?

How do they do blow up every 2 seconds?

You seriously don't see fouls being given for the slightest collisions? Or when a player trys any skill move past a defender and they take any sort of knock, they're rewarded with a freekick?. Or how about penalties that are given when you clearly win the ball..

And by 'blowing up' I mean blowing their whistle.

Fifa is built around skills, it's basically all they have when you think about it. Referees who give fouls for literally nothing ruin the experience.

The refereeing in FIFA has always been shite tbf.

Yeah, they're not fantastic and quite a lot of the time they can be too harsh, but as Cam said, it's not a game breaker and doesn't make me think "let's buy PES" instead.

Football games not existing would be better than having to play PES, horrendous game.

I think they need to make all the referees have exactly the same 'mentality' I mean I don't care if Scott Mcbeanie isn't different to that other fella with a shite name, games should be played on a level playing field, otherwise it's stupid as the referees are way too unpredictable.

PES is good this year so it wouldn't be too bad buying it.

The refs are the most realistic part of the game.

And what you said about all of them should he exactly the same... Refs aren't the same in real life, why should they be in a video game?

I think they're too quick to give out yellow cards. Most challenges that get carded on fifa, wouldn't be IRL.

The referees on FIFA are very inconsistent and somewhat racist (at least from experience ). Although it's quite frustrating at times, it's not enough for me to abandon the game and get PES. FIFA is on a whole other level to PES. I appreciate the cut scenes and little touches on PES, but the gameplay is the most important thing for me, and FIFA blows PES out of the water when it comes to gameplay.

Refs on FIFA always favour the CPU, I get players sent off for sliding in and tacking the ball clearly and the ref still gives red.

CPU slides through the back of you when you are 1 v 1 and nothing happens, You are more likly to be to be booked.

The main thing that pisses me off about refs are that advantages last about half a second. So you can get fouled when you are 1 v 8 at the top of the box but if you don't lose the ball in about half a second you apparently have "an advantage." They should make a button that waves advantages and just takes the kick, because even if you stand still and don't lose the ball the ref won't call it.

The other thing that pisses me off is when someone passes the ball to a player who is offside but you intercept it before it even gets anywhere near them, and you're off on the counter-attack when the ref blows it down for offside.

I get that the refs call some minor bumps, I hate when the ref gives fouls for minor shirt grabbing, which I do alot, sometimes I even get carded for it even if the other player doesn't fall down or anything, a little ridiculous.

Include it, but just make you get booked when you do it. Should be able to take your shirt off as well ... and get booked. They're still showing their rules.
