Stone Cold simply turned down the WWE's invite, it is silly to see how many people here cannot figure that one out.

I get that they asked him but more should have been done to get him there. Offer him a new ranch, buckets of beer, quad bikes...anything just to get him back for one night

Has to be Punk-Rock at RR. Like you say, they've done the Cena thing and Punk just flattened Rock - all ties in nicely.

It's going to be fun seeing how the Creative manage with a heel they can't humiliate so often and in comedic methods. At least, surely not after he's gone through a Best in the world storyline. But then again there was Jericho, time and again.

That was an excellent heel turn by Punk. I just hope WWE keep it Punk v Rock and not change the match or add another superstar later on.

I like the idea of AJ being GM of Raw. At the very least, it is something new and was unpredictable.

It makes complete sense now that Stone Cold Steve Austin was not at RAW 1000. He just had knee surgery and would have needed crutches to head down to the ring area. No one wants to see a legend list him in poor health in such a major moment. Everyone would say man "he looked so horrible out there" and a negative moment like that would never be forgotten.

I read that he was filming for Grown Ups 2, probably not true though.
