I think Duff will rape tomorrow.
City should demolish QPR.

Van Persie being so fucking much..
But you know he will deliver and be the focus. Althoughhhhh.. with his price almost double of a lot of the potential strikers.. I can't see him getting double the points.

I know, I just can't see him being worth that much even if he does repeat last year.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Tbh for as long as Rooney's out (which will probably be the next 3/4 games) I reckon he's a safe bet, he'll get the service and I'm sure the goals will follow also he'll most likely take any penalties we get as well as free kicks. If you're planning longer term then if I were you I'd take him out, the only reason I have him in is because he's our star signing with the extra millions you could get by putting someone like Ba or Cisse in you could get a much better all round team.
And then you took him out
And then you took him out

Lol.. it's my wildcard week, nothing is for sure!
Don't worry, ^that was a good read, and exactly my mindset. This is why I hate this fantasy shit.. so many pros and cons.. drives you insane when you inevitably fail.

Oh if it's your wildcard week then yeah what you did is right, taking him out and making a better overall team. The thing that annoys me is that I try hard with it now, but I know by around Christmas time I'll have given up or most other people in the leagues I'm in will have.

When I used mine, I made 2 transfers before loosing 8 points. Then I used it the next day to make more transfers, and it didn't take off 8 points at all that week.
Don't take my word on that though, could have been a mistake or something.

If it makes you feel any better.. everyone else's team was completely shit until they used their wildcards. You have a solid starting 11.. except for that Clyne guy.. he gonna get raped.
Every team will look shit until their players hit a bit of form.. then they will have the players everyone else is wanting to transfer for.

Pablo Hernandez from Valencia I think, I can see him linking up really well with Michu and getting loads of assists.

Dyer will do the same thing, cheaper, and more direct.

In a way I fucking hate fantasy league. It sort of ruins your enjoyment of the games cause rather than just sitting back and enjoying the game, you are constantly bothered about players you pick doing well and it pisses you off when someone your mate has does something good.

True. That said, it works in the opposite way sometimes too - gives you an incentive to take an interest in games you wouldn't normally give a fuck about.

And there lies my downfall - I have no interest so forget to change my team then it all goes to shit!Pico wrote:Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:In a way I fucking hate fantasy league. For me it's like betting on the games though, it gives me an interest in games I would usually have no interest in. I got really into it 2 seasons ago and it's fun checking through the results seeing if any of your players scored.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Maybe it's just my mates being cunts then. Once you have one bad week everyone goes on and on and they all talk about it far too much in general, I can never be arsed keeping up in that much detail. I'd rather bet on the games as Zzonked says.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Sometimes it's a bit boring if you're with mates and the only source of talk is football, I find that quite dull sometimes, most of the time it's great but just need a break sometimes.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
What i'm going to end up with. I have 1.1 left in the bank, i'm hoping somehow Petric goes up by .3 so I can buy Mirallas, then i'll be happy. Any tips?
