I'm weirdly looking forward to carefully analysing fixtures and picking players tomorrow.

That too. The chances of him playing combined with the chances of getting points isn't good.

Scored 6 in 12 for Fulham and is cheap.Cam wrote:Why Pogrebnyak?

Defensive midfielders and full backs are the worst things to pick in this, it'll be better off getting 3 good strikers because they get the most points.

Dembele and Mikel (I have 3 Chelsea players though then)
or
Allen and Miyachi/Rodwell/Sandro
Anyone?
Yea but, to have Dembele, I must have Mikel.
I'm trying to get rid of Mikel, yet find a compromise !

2 fullbacks and a defensive midfielder have a better chance of getting you more points than that extra striker.Andy wrote:Defensive midfielders and full backs are the worst things to pick in this, it'll be better off getting 3 good strikers because they get the most points.

I thought Full backs were good? Get assists and such?

If you have 3 strikers on at the same time, all good ones.Jord wrote:2 fullbacks and a defensive midfielder have a better chance of getting you more points than that extra striker.Andy wrote:Defensive midfielders and full backs are the worst things to pick in this, it'll be better off getting 3 good strikers because they get the most points.

Gone for that at the moment.
Carrick or Dembele, my head says Dembele but my heart says Carrick Carrick got more points last season, playing less games. Also, i'm thinking of starting Coloccini instead of Ferdinand.

The only point of choosing Lucas is the fact that he may get the odd MOTM. You honestly can't expect assists or goals.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Aye I know, rather him then Mikel though. I want to see how much Sahin and Ramirez cost, thinking they, especially Ramirez could be good value.
It's either Lescott and Lucas, or Zabaleta and Allen. I know the first two will start though, which is swaying it although Richards is injured.

That's what I thought. Assists + clean sheets. Obviously a centre back would get a few goals, unless your name's Rio Ferdinand.Cam wrote:I thought Full backs were good? Get assists and such?

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Should find out tomorrow if Koscielny will start. Considering putting Pogrebnyak in for a midfielder.
Will most likely be Cazorla.
EDIT: Sunderland are playing us. I really just prepare my team for the season not the specific game.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Allen, Colocinni, and Figueroa as my subs.
I'm honestly thinking about just ditching the 'try-hard' attitude, picking the best possible point collectors.. and just pick a team I like.

I'd take out Baines or Cazorla, and put in Toure.
I'd also make Torres my captain. Upto you though

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
I read The Scout, really good tbf, Tevez was apparently set to feature much more.
I might take out Walters and put in Yaya Toure, make Walters my 1st Choice then at least if Tevez doesn't play I have the Jonathon Walters glitch.
Tevez got a goal and assist in the CS, so he may get a start.
I'm going to keep in Cazorla because most players that join Arsenal have good debuts, remember Vermaelan vs Everton? Nasri I believe etc.

Hmmm.
Give me your advice Drew, what would you do with my team?

Re: Fantasy Football 2012/13
Without making transfers.. Torres to captain and Yaya for Walters.
With transfers.. Walters for Guthrie then Bale for Yaya.
