In this case it can work but it is not a reason to let is slide in which Blatter and Platini will allow. The stupidity of those two is significant.

The liverpool core have really proved their worth so far, that should answer our haters. Even Downing's done well by staying off the pitch.

So, after all this... England do what I expected them to do, strong organized defense, typical English-ness in the middle and final third. They handled what was given to them and I think I have a good shot vs. Italy, I don't really have a favorite in that match, Italy will most likely have more possession but I believe Chellini is out. So it'll be interesting.

Both of Ukraine's "huge" chances (skied header from a few feet out, and the over the line goal) were obviously offside. Surprised it wasn't caught.

No he was playing CM but on a couple of times he got out on the wing and was englands best winger of the tournament.
