This has been the best game so far, I reckon.

Uh, Torres. You disappoint me. Should play with Llorente instead.

Stupid commentators criticise Spain, but when they bring on a striker, he sucks.

Italy played great, apart from the tracking runs after their goal.
Torres.

I found that match highly entertaining
Italy looked considerably better than I expected, but I think they should be playing with Di Natale and Balotelli up front rather than Cassano and Balotelli

Torres should not be there ahead of soldado/adrian. Hopefully iniesta starts in midfield next game ahead of Alonso, but del bosue will never learn.

Balotelli.....fuck that is way too much of a risk. He's retarded.

Di Natale should be a definite starter for Italy. Don't know why they didn't start with him today.

Torres could have scored 2 today but made the worst possible decisions in both situations...

Great game, definitly lived up to its expectations. Italy defended brilliantly, DDR played the Libero role exceptionally well.

You have to say that was extremely intelligent goalkeeping by Buffon when he saw that Torres was going to go around him.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
Really happy for Di Natale. He's usually not that good for the national team, but he's started on a great note.
Cassano + Di Natale for the next match.

He's a risk, but he has a tendency to cause problems for defenders.

Would you rather Cassano started ahead of Giovinco? Giovinco really impresses me every time I see him play and he looked more of a threat than Cassano with his passing today, in my opinion.

But is it really worth it at this stage? He has a tendency to fail and cost his team in the process, and there isn't any room for that level of failure. Whereas Cassano has had a great season in-spite of his illness.

That was also an amazing tackle by Ramos on Balotelli.
