Re: The tennis thread.
Feel absolutely awful for Jo, nothing surprises me with Novak though, guy is incredible.

Re: The tennis thread.
Absolutely insane to save 4 match points at different times in a set. It's absolutely killed Tsonga.
And what the fuck happened to Del Potro?

Re: The tennis thread.
4th set deserved to be the last, obviously without the tiebreak.
I'm actually gutted for Tsonga.

Re: The tennis thread.
I hate Djokovic celebrating, seems like such a loud mouth cunt, but he's actually classy, applauding Tsonga there.
Probably because he celebrates (rightly so) when he beats a player I want to win.

Federer and Djokovic battling back like heroes. Amazing.

Re: The tennis thread.
Djokovic has all my respect, the way he celebrated was warranted, he always gives credit to other players who do something good and always speaks well of others and is always a good loser.

Yeah, it's just I always see him go nuts when I'm disappointed/gutted that his opponent lost- Nadal at Wimbledon and Australia, and now.kyro7 wrote:Djokovic has all my respect, the way he celebrated was warranted, he always gives credit to other players who do something good and always speaks well of others and is always a good loser.

Steady on, ladies. Tsonga practically gave up in the 5th and Delpo's knee was fucked for the last couple of sets too.
These results were NID.

Agreed, Del Potro was never going to win that after the injury came to the forefront.Pico wrote:Steady on, ladies. Tsonga practically gave up in the 5th and Delpo's knee was fucked for the last couple of sets too.

The knee was bothering him in previous matches also. He can kiss any chance at Wimbledon goodbye.
Unlike Murray, whose back only hurts after he loses a point.

You said ladies so I can only assume you meant me as well, the reason I gave Djokovic respect is nothing to do with the 5th, that was easy, in the 4th though he faced all them match points, on every single one he was cool as a cucumber, guy must have balls the size of the tennis balls.Pico wrote:Steady on, ladies. Bear in mind all of those match points were on Djokovic's own serve. A much easier task than saving match points on your opponent's serve, especially in the men's game.

Yeah I know but he's so so composed, he was 15-40 down with all of the crowd against him, and he does the right thing, still deserves massive credit imo.

Re: The tennis thread.
Almagro got very lucky there, ball just climbed over the net at such a vital point, seriously think Almagro will take the first set, and he has a good chance the way he's playing, his backhand has been brilliant.. whilst Rafa has been far from his best.
