2x1 is the final. Nice to start with a win. Need more cohesiveness though.

Fuck that. I'm streaming it. I'll miss hearing Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracamontes calling the game though.

Like an idiot -- I'm doing it. It sucks, and I know they will disappoint me, but then I'll have visual evidence of how disappointing they will have been.

Re: CONCACAF Road to World Cup 2014
Just head out to a bar or something. Don't think there's much else on today so they'll probably be showing it.
Canada vs Honduras, if we win this we'll be in good shape to get out of the group. I think it's possible to pull it off, if we defend like we did against the US and our strikers manage to take our chances (ie. Play Jackson instead of Ricketts) then we can probably beat most teams in CONCACAF (bar Mexico and USA).

No games on regular tv tonight? This is lame and I was willing to watch in Spanish if needed.

Canada game is on Sportsnet (Canadian sports channel). So not sure if you guys get it.
0-0 so far, Canada having a small edge in possession.

Don't think so. The Canada game, and the US game are $30 ppv each.

Finished 0-0, Canada definitely outplayed Honduras had a few opportunities that we could have buried easily, Honduras didn't really have any clear cut chances. Reminded me of the USA game, but not quite as many chances either way. Still, good result for us. Tie against the toughest team in the group (and previous world cup qualifier) and three straight clean sheets now in all competitions. Our defense has looked incredibly solid, we've hardly given up any chances in these last three games. If only we could actually start taking chances, we had three or four headers off set pieces that were smashed just wide or over that could have easily gone in.

Re: CONCACAF Road to World Cup 2014
Mexico had an incredibly embarrassing showing in EL Salvador today. We looked like fucking San Marino out there. Needed two offside goals to beat El Salvador. I know El Salvador away is always tough but we could barely manage to chain two passes together. Fucking embarrassing.
Osael Romero also made our defenders look like dickheads.
You can watch the highlight here.

Those goals weren't offside, the first one was clearly onside. The second one is tricky but the ball went untouched until it reached Moreno, he was legal when Andrade kicked it.
Shitty game though, and El Salvador had the player of the game.

Re: CONCACAF Road to World Cup 2014
Hey that's a tough game in a very hostile El Salvador. Any win is good in my opinion. I think both goals are onside. The 1st one obviously is and the 2nd one is untouched until Moreno who was onside headed it. It had been 15 years since Mexico last won in Cuscatlan, apparently...

What is your view on the managers of the USMNT so far? Who is better: Bradley or Klinsmann?

I find it weird that they say the US avoids a midsummer game in Mexico. It's the same thing in March, probably worse since their is no rain.

It is hard to believe that only a few months ago this was the ugly reality before beIN Sports was created. They are still my heros.
