Also, in a 4-3-3, 4-3-2-1, 4-3-1-2 when there is 3 CM's, is it possible to make the central one play deeper/less attacking than the other 2? Giving one a CDM card didn't work for me. Is it purely to do with the players attacking workrate? In theory he should stay further back if his attacking workrate is lower than the other 2?


This is what really bugs me about UT because we can't play narrow diamonds, or holding midfielders in these formations.

You can if you adjust workrates.. make the CM low/high.

How do I adjust the workrates of a player?

custom formations, in-game. save the formation.

I always assumed doing that would ruin the chemistry of my team. Or will that only happen if I actually change the base formation to something different to what my players are?

Can't alter chemistry ingame I think.

apparently once the game starts.. your chem and shit is set..

so having Kompany as ST would still have him at 9chem, etc.

work-rates dont ruin chem.. idk why you would think they would.. the players are still in the same positions.. just different work ethics.

so when you are in an actual game, it just takes 5 seconds to pick your formation and go.

Oh I know that, I just know if people kept pausing at the start of my games it would eventually annoy me. Gonna do it anyway, always wanted to play a narrow diamond with either 5 at the back or 4 on UT with my own players.

It annoys me whenever people pause it ingame. Whatever their personal life crisis is, 30 seconds isn't going to be enough to make a difference.

It is when you have to unlock the door for someone when they're waiting outside.

Or need to get food out of the oven when the timer goes off so it doesn't burn.
