In addition to his exploits with Rangers, Bougherra was also part of a defense that allowed 2 goals at the World Cup, the first of which was a pure goalkeeping error, and the second one at the death.

I always feel like Drogba, Eto'o, and Keita are in the shortlist every year no matter what. I'm not saying they don't deserve to be on there this year (well maybe not Keita).
