I serve lots of Germans at work, they have always been polite and friendly. As a nation, we should take a leaf out of their book.
Trent, that's part of it. It's all about home rule, land acts, Gladstone/Asquith/Lloyd George/Parnell/Collins and that bollocks. Biggest load of shit I've ever learned about.

Indeed it would, you could sit in your armchair happy in the knowledge that team Nikon and the chínks got into Old Trafford for cheaper.Danny wrote:Football ticket prices would be a start.George wrote:

Yeah, I got some goals program in 6th year which I dropped out of since I didn't need it, and the UCAS stuff. There were a couple of people who went straight from 5th year to uni though. It wasn't advised but you could still do it if you wanted to.Henrik's Tongue wrote:Zzonked wrote:
It would help a lot if you could please explain the Scottish university system coherently.
I've never been aware of anyone going to university after 5th year, which Jela says he is in
You get taught about how to apply for university (UCAS etc) in 6th year (17/18)

Agreed, they have certainly learned from their mistakes of the past and have really become a model country. While Germany has risen, Great Britain (and the rest of Europe, really) has just continued to decline.George wrote:Glen Damon wrote:Agreed. I actually really want to go to Germany. It looks like a fascinating country.
Also, I am determined to go to Japan/Tokyo as-well one day. Should be nice to see a new culture.

What is there to actually talk about tactics and formations? Such a boring subject, that prettying anyone can blah about, but people seem to have some sort of superiority complex by talking about it.

I would be inclined to agree that Napolean was good.

It's more expensive to get a ferry to the Isle Of Wight (from Portsmouth), than getting a ferry to France from the same destination.

I could bore you all day with the tactics an formations Forest play you little shit. But quite frankly, who is interested or even bothered about how Forest came into the second half more offensively. Gunter's role has became more of a wing back and he is providing the majority of crosses for the strikers from down the right hand side. Or perhaps I should tell you how it is probably best for Andy Reid to be substituted . He's beginning to drift into the middle a lot more anti avoid extensive running. His fitness isn't great. He should be replaced with Elokobi. Cunningham can push up into left wing as his defensive capabilities aren't as strong as Elokobi's. Reading are continuously pushing down the left, so a big presence like Elokobi will contain this pressure, and with Cunnigham on left wing it provides defensive cover. Seeing as I go to games, I know a lot more about tactics and formations that you can see on the tv, which only focuses on the play. I get to see the opening of holes, defensive lines dropping back and pushing up etc, players drifting out of position or being caught out etc. But quite frankly, all this shit is boring. It bores me to death, and it would probably bore everyone else to death if I returned home from every match and gave such an in-detail account. I am far superior to you and your blagged Serie A knowledge, so pipe down.
