352 is great as long as you play box to boxers in the DM positions, I have Toure and Schwiensteiger there and thy're fantastic.

I also found Toure to be great alongside IF Fellaini.

3-5-2 is just a no-go for me. 4-2-3-1 is what I live by now, apparently.

I still feel 4-4-2 is the best formation, although I only have one squad that uses it. I'm primarily a 4-3-3 man. Everytime I've used 4-2-3-1 my players passing has been horiffic. I don't know what it is, but they always make the wrong passes, maybe it's because there's so many players in close proximity in the same direction (If you get me) that FIFA's fantastic AI system can't decide which pass actually makes sense, and that I'm not actually trying to pass the ball 8km through 5 opposition players, and actually want to pass to the guy right next to me

And he had Messi and Ronaldo in his team, they didn't score

Thank god there are different formations then.. because 4-4-2 is just so flat for me .. and uncreative. 4-3-3 is a blast.. but I got tired of having the pitch be so wide open for both sides.. oppositions got too many counter attacks. I love the 4-2-3-1, the passing options and spacing is just brilliant for me. I understand what you're saying about the passing system.. that shit is just so retarded sometimes.

The thing I like about my 4-4-2 is my 2 midfielders are REALLY key to the game. Maybe it's just this particular team (Miccoli and Cavani up front with Cambiasso and Hamsik in midfield) but the way they play is just amazing, fabulous passing moves, positive runs in and around the box. Just great stuff all round. Will try more 4-4-2's.

I like the fact that in 4-3-3 usually your wingers only have 1 player to take on (which Im quite good at). 2 at most. And against formations with CDM's this is great.

After some consideration I think 4-3-3 is obviously my favourite formation, it just goes perfectly with my skill orientated mindset I suppose

UT is unrealistically fast. There is barely any time on the ball, it's just pass and shoot almost. When the game is fast like that....the element of luck in the game is so much higher. It's also a lot easier to do lame tactics like 1-2 pass then lobbed through ball....too many people are not good at all, but do this all game and eventually it pays off.



All the players stats are ridiculously boosted...it's just stupid IMO. UT has gotten worse and worse with each year, it's becoming more and more a money making scheme than an actual game....something which is what seperates the likes of EA from companies like Valve.
