As we've seen this season, not all of them will be fit for the whole season.
They don't need to all be fit when you have 6. Even if 66% of them are injured we would still be able to field a 4-4-2 with two central midfielders in it, not to mention the likes of Park and Jones in case of emergency.

Giggs and Scholes dont need to play much

Fletcher will not magically come back 100%

Anderson will get injured, if he doesnt he will be rotated

we will hopefully be playing in 4 competitions

if we can afford to have these midfielders then no harm in having back up and competition. or maybe fergie sells one of them (anderson probably)

They won't play much, they're be rotated on account of the huge number of central midfielders we have.

Ferguson is going to show faith in Fletcher, we both know that. He probably sees it as unethical to abandon him, he's a sentimental old fucker.

Ferguson thinks Anderson will become a fantastic player, he's going nowhere, Ferguson will want to give him games to aid his development, same as Cleverley.

You can't just stockpile more and more midfielders, if we have seven or eight then either Scholes and Giggs become cheerleaders who we should let retire for their own good, or Cleverley and Anderson hardly get any games to develop.

When have we ever gone into a season with more than 6 central midfielders?

We need a replacement for Scholes ASAP, and we are still suffering from not having a replacement for Roy Keane, almost half a decade after he quit. Fergie can't have missed that, surely.

In Ferguson's defence, he has tried, Anderson was supposed to be the eventual replacement for Scholes when we spent €30m on him as an 18 year old in 2007, Ferguson thought he was the best young player in Europe. Unfortunately his development hasn't been anywhere near as good as Ferguson thought it would be.

He was a box-to-box midfielder when he came here.

I think he was more of an attacking midfielder, not sure though.

He should have just pinched his nose and raised his head instead of wasting the NHS's time

At 70 years of age it's best to get checked out and to be on the safe side.

    £17.5M = €26M in 2007.

£17.5m was an understatement too, at the time they said we signed both for £30m (nani and anderson) and nani cost more out of the two. since there is no concrete proof i added a few million
