They don't need to all be fit when you have 6. Even if 66% of them are injured we would still be able to field a 4-4-2 with two central midfielders in it, not to mention the likes of Park and Jones in case of emergency.Kuled wrote:As we've seen this season, not all of them will be fit for the whole season.ResurrectionRooney wrote:

Giggs and Scholes dont need to play much
Fletcher will not magically come back 100%
Anderson will get injured, if he doesnt he will be rotated
we will hopefully be playing in 4 competitions
if we can afford to have these midfielders then no harm in having back up and competition. or maybe fergie sells one of them (anderson probably)
They won't play much, they're be rotated on account of the huge number of central midfielders we have.
Ferguson is going to show faith in Fletcher, we both know that. He probably sees it as unethical to abandon him, he's a sentimental old fucker.
Ferguson thinks Anderson will become a fantastic player, he's going nowhere, Ferguson will want to give him games to aid his development, same as Cleverley.
You can't just stockpile more and more midfielders, if we have seven or eight then either Scholes and Giggs become cheerleaders who we should let retire for their own good, or Cleverley and Anderson hardly get any games to develop.
When have we ever gone into a season with more than 6 central midfielders?
