What's the season thing about? Your players move up or down depending on how you play with them in your season or how the season in real life goes?

How the season in real life goes, I think.

Ahh, Adidas Live Season.
The free feature in 2009 which was really good.
Looks like it failed like fuck when EA tried to charge you £4 for each league then

Re: FIFA 13
Just been watching a few videos of this, things that they all reiterate are:
First touch has big impact. Difference between silver and gold players on UT should be more noticeable.
Pace is less effective. Pace abusers will find that their players tire and the first touch will be worse as a result.
Skill moves aren't as effective. No more runs with players tearing apart defences with constant tricks.
Contain can be beaten more easily. A body feint, well timed skill move or quick dribble should be enough to get you away from defenders.
Finesse shots aren't as overpowered. No more 30 yard curlers into the top corner every time without fail.

Hopefully the amount of stamina has been reduced, I can play my usual passing game then.

They should make it so that there is fatigue(individual game) and stamina(long term), and have them separated. Reduce fatigue for an individual match as you said, so people can't sprint all game long without consequences. And increase stamina. The stamina as it is now is complete shit in CM.

Re: FIFA 13
Finesse shots, neutralised. Human keepers, neutralised. Computer Any, neutralised. Hacked pros, neutralised. Pace abusing, apparently slightly neutralised. This all paints the picture of the game being too good to be true.

They still haven't mentioned if the problems on manual have been fixed. No one gives a shit about us
Guess I'll have to play the demo.

Re: FIFA 13
Really looking excited to this.
I also hope they've fixed that annoying thing where the players go to run to fetch the ball for a throw in and just end up standing right next to it.

Re: FIFA 13
watched a quick bit of gameplay and it's looking waayyy too fast (maybe because it's 2min halves? I have no idea why they choose to show off their game with 2 min halves...no doubt the demo will be the same )
There really needs to be some sort of momentum in the game (in terms of reaction times, inertia, sprinting/slowing down etc..)
Also they need to start moving away from the full assisted passing (seems a little ping pongish), a move more towards semi-assisted would be nice!
Some of the new animations though do look nice...

Re: FIFA 13
The pace in the fifa 12 demo was nice before they seemed to have increased it in the full game.
The pace in 08 was one of the best
It felt as though you were actually controlling a player - they felt nice and weighty.

It seems like they're sticking with the FIFA Street esque music of rap/hip-hop.

I watched the KSI vid and he nailed a finesse in like his first match (05:48)....the guys on the fifa soccer blog podcast were saying it's still the exactly the same and that they had let EA know. I doubt it'll change too much for the full game.
Also how does anybody not find that not to be too fast? The reaction times and lack of momentum is ridiculous.
There is also definitely some ping pong going on. Like I said before, they should move towards making semi passing default, or something between semi & assisted. That would be awesome.
Look at the goal from kick-off at 06:30....same old shit.

Re: FIFA 13
The fact your getting a scoreline of 4-1 in a 2/3min halve match say a lot...
Bear in mind it's a new game and it's probably their first or second time playing..
check out the goal at 09:00...

I do and I'm very surprised at the lack of complaints regarding this. I dread to think what Ultimate Team will be like.El_indian wrote:
