Re: FIFA 13
Career mode seems to become bugged over the course of the games season with more patches making issues that weren't there to begin with.
Also had some weird experiences with it in Fifa 12, started a few on seperate occasions with Ajax where i the 3rd time a played handed in a transfer request put the sliders for injury all the way down. As in my first save G. Van Der Wiel handed in a request but couldn't get what i wanted for him, he instantly gets injured and is out for 8 months. On the 2nd save Christian Eriksen hands in a transfer request, i refuse and he gets injured for 7 months (I started the save over after that)
The Nani thing also happened with Eyong Enoh who first was complaining over little playtime, then proceeded to complain over the climate and got sold to France.

Re: FIFA 13
It's not as bad as people say.
The main issues for me is when players want to leave its usually your best one, and you're rarely given the chance to keep them, and they end up going for fuck all. How hard would it have been to patch that?
Edit: players saying they're homesick is annoying too, especially when they've been at the club for ages, demand to go back to their home country, then piss off to Spain.

Re: FIFA 13
And how often do you see the clubs owners sell a player and the manager does nothing?
At least you can pack it in mid season this time.

Re: FIFA 13
Not sure if it was heat lamps exactly, but it was something along those lines. I didn't make any decisions but Nani would pop up in those little boxes after you play a match and say "Boss I dun leik climate n shit" and then there would be a news story. Eventually it said that we put heating lamps or some shit in his house to help him adjust to the climate.Cam wrote:Jorlung wrote:In FIFA 12 I was almost forced to sell Nani because he "couldn't adjust to the climate." Re: FIFA 13
H2H seasons has to be my least favorite mode. Regular online used to be my favourite mode (though I didn't play FUT 11 that much), I miss when you still had the chance to play shit teams in H2H, it was fun experimenting and trying different things. But now if you experiment or don't go full sweat mode you probably won't win...

Yeah I miss playing those half star teams when I was like a 3 star team or vice versa.
They should have just a 'quick match' option.

Everyone uses customized teams on that, it's stupid.SBSP wrote:It's called unranked or friendly or something.

Unranked is fun as long as no one has their 90+ created player.
Also it's fun playing Real Madrid with fucking Queretaro.
Speaking of which anyone want to play a match?

The guy running CM this year seems like a good guy.
He seems like he actually cares, he's really into it.

Yeah, this guy sounds like he actually gives a fuck. That's promising.
I'm excited about having international teams/tournaments in CM.

"No, you can’t change the kits. They are licensed. BUT, you CAN unlock historic kits for a variety of teams and have them in CM!"
Please Arsenal's '71 kit.

Re: FIFA 13
I still don't like the whole "tackling and defending requires more skill" part. Attack/Defence ratio is painfully edged towards attack to begin with, making defence harded and attacking easier is not the way to go...

Re: FIFA 13
I agree that there needs to be balance but I would favour harder defending over easier defence even if attacking remained easy.

Re: FIFA 13
I wouldn't. Watching top class players get run past because of poor AI and tricky defensive control is ludicrious.

Re: FIFA 13
Oh yeah the defensive AI is fucking terrible. It is my most hated thing on FIFA.
I thought you meant hardness in terms of learning difficulty/difficulty to master.
