No, because I did not start watching football on a regular basis until the 2006 World Cup. I watched a few World Cup finals before them and Champions Finals because that was the only great games around at that time and I was not interested in the MLS. I think the 2007-08 season was the first time I was able to watch any European leagues.

The way we have played this season has actually made me bored of football.

Blackburn fans are a disgrace. A must win game. A game when the club needs the supporters more than ever. And what do we get? Constant chanting of "Kean out" for most of the first half. Looked like it was getting to the players too. I agree he's been a terrible manager but nobody deserves that level of personal abuse.

When Watford came last in the Premier League....there was not any disgruntlement, in fact we were all very proud. Sure, we were favourites to go down....but Blackburn cannot kid themselves, it's not like they are a club who should be doing much better.

I didn't say it was exclusive to English football. But unruly and bitchy fans is an aspect of English football. Yes, it's an aspect in many other leagues as well. But that doesn't make my comment any less valid.

True.

I think "Welcome to English football" is a bit off though.

But I guess obviously...if anyone or anything underachieves...whatever the industry or aspect of life...it will come under criticism.

This match was so entertaining entirely not for the football. The fans were hilarious, the chicken was comedy gold, the guy running onto the field and throwing his season tickets at Kean (in the last game of the season where they were completely useless at this point anyway) really gave me a good laugh. It was all very pathetic.

Wigan played pretty well, didn't they end up with like 18 shots in the end? Should have scored 3 or 4 last night.
