No, They did try and they were doing alright in the first half, in the second half they must have been fatigued cause they weren't closing down space and pressing city like they were in the first half. They shouldn't have let Toure score the first goal, was pathetic fro, Newcastles point of view, he had so much room to place his shot accurately.
