Your point means nothing though, at least my statistic gives them both a fair crack when it's head to head, if Federer was around his best now, he wouldn't be winning slams, because Novak is about too, looking at the slams alone is simplistic and doesn't mean anything when you take it all into consideration.

Olderer. Give Rafa finals v Hewitt, Safin, Roddick, he'd win them.

They were better than they are now, but nowhere near Rafa's level. My point is either way, Federer has had it a lot easier, the finals Rafa has lost have been to Federer twice at Wimbledon, then he finally conquered Fed on his service in the best match in history, Federer's playing style is easier on the eye but imo Nadal's has been even more effective, and when Federer was first winning his Wimbledon's he was competing with the players I said, Rafa was competing with Federer, huge difference for him.
