It is now well known that Pep Guardiola will be stepping down from his job at Barcelona at the end of the season. For me this isn't that much of a shock because Pep has said in the past that he would be keen to 'take a break' from the game. The 41-year-old, who made 479 appearances for Barca between 1990 and 2001, was appointed in 2008 and has led the Catalan club to 13 trophies.
In a attempt to keep the young manager at the club, Barcelona President Sandro Rosell has offered Pep unlimited spending money in the summer. However Guardiola said that he didn't want to 'base his decision on money'.
So, who should Barcelona replace Pep with?
BBC's favourite contenders for the job include:
Rafael Benitez: A product of Barca's great rivals Real Madrid, Rafa won domestic and European honours with Valencia and Liverpool, but has been jobless since leaving Inter Milan in 2010.
Marcelo Bielsa: Managed Argentina before moving to Athletic Bilbao, where their style of play has taken them to the Europa League final in his first season.
Laurent Blanc: A former Barca defender, Le President is known for his leadership skills, and won the league with Bordeaux before taking on the French national job.
Andre Villas-Boas: A protege of ex-Barca manager Sir Bobby Robson, AVB left Chelsea without success, but won four trophies in one season with Porto.
Personally, There are only two people that I think could replace Pep at Barcelona. Arsene Wenger or Beilsa. Both have the same 'philosophy'. Current Roma boss Luis Enrique is also another good shout.
