Re: Bedlington Billionaire
Why Bedlington?
Why can't he invest in Polish Ekstraklasa for example? Or in Anderlecht? Or in Sparta Praha? Or in Trabzonspor et cetera?
Gah, this is annoying as hell.

Impossible.
They're in the 9th Tier of English Football.
Highest they could get to in that time is League 2.

No need for name calling, cunt.
No, fine I understand if he wants to invest in Bedlington, it's just annoying that there are teams that could potentially be future stable Champions League clubs, but only need a little push.

Re: Bedlington Billionaire
Ok, I guess they do.
But Poland only needs English training and coaches, competent managers, investment in a youth system(copy+paste Germany's) and some financial backing = We are a top League.
But that won't happen because Lato is a corrupt incompetent idiot.

I'd prefer it to the shithole that some English cities look like anyday.

Crowds this year have been amazingly high this season for Polish standards. (of previous seasons)
Wisla Krakow, Legia Warszawa, Lech Poznan have all been bringing regularly 16-20k people.
Polonia Warszawa, Widzew Lodz regularly 15k
Cracovia Krakow, Korona Kielce, Ruch Chorzow, Gornik Zabrze, Zagielbie Lubin, Lechia Gdansk, Arka Gdynia have all been bringing 10k.
Jagiellonia Bialystok could be bringing over 15k seeing as they are leading the table and doing amazingly, but their stadium only holds 6k. It at the moment is being rebuilt to hold over 20K though.
Only GKS Belchatow have been bringing small number, but they are from a smaller town. Only Slask Wroclaw has been really disappointing, and seeing as they are bottom of the table, no surprise the fans are reluctant to go.
But Wroclaw has about 750,000 people, they certainly have the fan base to have large attendance.
After EURO and several fine Ekstraklasa seasons, I expect Poland to have attendances similar to Portugal. 20-30K versus meh competition, 15K verus sucky competition, and 50K+ for top games. (actually not 50k, seeing as these EURO stadiums only hold like 48K or so each, but sellouts)
Even in our second division, teams like Pogon Szczecin bring around 14k to games.

Re: Bedlington Billionaire
I am planning on leaving Venezuela next summer.
I might go to England, Might go to Canada or US, might go to Poland, Spain, Germany et cetera.
I don't know where my road is heading yet.
edit: OOOH Now I understand your post.
Most of us there don't even live there permanently. Most of us own apartments in England and houses in Poland. We are in England for two major reasons, Zloty-Pound exchange can be abused, and wages are higher in England.
Once wages in Poland reach Western European levels, than I don't see the reason for staying in England. Especially since Poland is so much nicer.
And you will be begging us back in a few years time, when the Ukrainians, Romanians, Bulgarians and Yugoslavs arrive in large numbers.

We don't call it "owning apartments" over here. We say "Living in a council flat".
