Defending well or not doesn't matter in UT, therefore your argument is invalid.
I am basically impenetrable on H2H (srs) but on UT, I think being able to defend well improves your chances of winning by...10% at best, it's up to FIFA at the end of the day

H2H is so slow.. its fairly easy to defend on that side of it.
I just got done playing someone on H2H.. He was Barcelona.. I was Man City.
He must have had like.. super saiyan speed or something.. + ultra offense + crack.. because every single time i had the ball.. no fucking joke.. he had 3 guys swarming me instantly..
At the end of the game, I had 11 tackles.. he had 33. The post-game map looks hilarious with all his dots. It was quite sad. I even send the fucker a message saying, "You play like a fucking crackhead, calm down bro." It was unreal.. I have never seen anything like it before.
I stuck to my game though.. won 3-1. I had his striker on his weak foot.. so I wasn't afraid of him scoring..
he scored.. then I realized his striker was Messi.
