Learned about Ademir da Guia today (son of the great Domingos da Guia). Such a good player only got 9 caps for Brazil between '62 and '74. Look at some of the competition he had for a place:

Pele
Tostao
Jairzinho
Mario Zagallo
Rivelino

And back then I think you could only make 1 sub (or even none, not sure).

It's a bit like Spain nowadays. There are some good players not at the big two or at other big clubs (Soldad, Navas, Cazorla, Martinez etc.)who have had great seasons. Guys like Michu at Rayo Vallecano (15 goals, 3 assists), Iborra at Levente, and Verdu at Espanyol who won't even get a look in for the Spanish squad. It's a bit of a shame.

Make an effort. I know it's difficult. When I'm studying, I'm always thinking of how long I'll wait until my next break. I take breaks often, but I try to make them short.

All I've done productively this holiday is one hours revision most days.

Basically I've not even revised every day for 7 fucking exams in the space of 2 weeks just over a month away, and spent hardly any time doing it.

Makes me want to commit.

I have 5 assignments to do by Monday.

Bet I don't start any until Sunday night.

i only revised for my GCSE's the night before and managed to pass 6 out of 8

i have failed maths twice already and will probably fail a third time next month or whenever the exam is.

Motivation is a hard thing to come by even when doing nothing is the stupidest option available to you. Just continually think of how incredibly fucked you will if you fail. That should help.
