Lettuce be cereal, we were unlucky as fuck that Wigan the 2nd goal.

and the fact that we had Walcott AND Ramsey on the same pitch was a key indicator that we were going to struggle to break an 11 man defence

RVP did shake Caldwell's hand by the way. Caldwell was having a go at him for not shaking it properly. Confused

Also I've just read Arteta left on crutches, wearing a protective boot. Most likely out for the rest of the season

No, he won't. Wenger rarely does that so I doubt he'd do it now with four games of the season remaining. Should just play Chamberlain in the same position he played against Milan. That's probably not going to happen though and he'll play that cockroach, Ramsey, instead.

All three instances were when Arsenal were about to face Barcelona so he needed all the help he could it. I don't think he'll do it this time, mainly because we have so few games remaining.

I think making sure we finish in the top four is more important than a first leg tie against Barcelona, the Van Persie one was back in the 2007/08 season. If we lose against Chelsea we will be 1 point ahead of 4th (presuming Chelsea win their game in hand) and we still have to go to WBA and Stoke away.

After losing to Wigan I'm not so sure.

I didn't even think it was possible to go 2-0 down against Wigan.

Chelsea players will still be seeing and chasing Barca players on Saturday morning, so that should help Arsenal out.

Agreed, but none of the opponents are remotely close to Barcelona's level. I think Arsenal still have enough without Wilshere to keep a top four place. Also, what was the incident with van Persie? I don't recall as I am a Manchester United fan and I don't particularly care for Arsenal. Smile

Don't worry it's a redundant point anyway because Wilshere is just announced to miss the Euros. Laughing

Knew we'd lose this game. It's just a misfortune that Wigan happened to be playing us at the end of the season, when they start playing like fucking Germany.

Well I think most people expected Wigan to get 0 points over this stretch of games against the "big boys" but they managed to get 6 points. Perhaps if less funny business happened at Chelsea they could have got more.
