Re: Playmaker FC (Xbox)
Dammit, I can't get any chances with Jord running through the middle.

I admit, my finishing is not the most consistant but tonight it has been abyssmal. 0% luck shit my pants when that goal went in.

I'm sorry. I naturally drift into the center. Sometimes I don't realise I do it too much.Eternal Witcher wrote:Dammit, I can't get any chances with Jord running through the middle.

Re: Playmaker FC (Xbox)
You always seem to be marked Witcher, think it has something to do with you not being able to control your player fully. I mean, look when I'm on the right, you had 2 players around you and Jord was free at the back post so I just played that long cross a couple of times even though he missed the first time volleys
I actually like that position I played in tonight, think I played fairly well.

I never get found, but I prefer it that way. I try to draw defenders away from other players, because I know that I will miss about 90% of the chances that I get.

There are games where service to me is actually pretty good. However most often I can't finish. You went through a patch like this too remember? And if you're like me then you most likely get annoyed at yourself for letting the team down.
How many times do you get pissed off at yourself when you see the perfect run by a teammate and attempt the ball, only to see it blocked. This happens all the time to me and it's a real pain. I could write a whole essay on this but the fact is clubs is not a fairytail and not every move ends in smiles.

In fairness, I am pretty good at spotting runs and sending players through on goal. Probably one of my best strengths.

Jord, if you didn't miss every wide open attempt, maybe I would pass to you more.

You're a very disciplined player, Glen. You and Moose would make a nice little DCM team.Glen Damon wrote:Jord, if you didn't miss every wide open attempt, maybe I would pass to you more.
Also I agree with what you say. My finishing is highly inconsistant. However when playing in a team of 3 usually consisting of me, eternal and moose then I'm quite clinical. I could say this about everyone in this team of 3 though. That's when the magic happens you see.

True. I'm more adventurous then. Regardless of what Bogdan says, my finesse shots aren't just down to hacked pros.

I like to model my play around that of Lucas Leiva. What a fantastic player.Jord wrote:You're a very disciplined player, Glen. You and Moose would make a nice little DCM team.Glen Damon wrote:Jord, if you didn't miss every wide open attempt, maybe I would pass to you more.

And I agree, you are always a threat, regardless of your finishing. However, I seem to remember you and I combining well for the second goal of the final game.

Re: Playmaker FC (Xbox)
That's fine
What do you even think you do that makes your finesse take any skill? I'm guessing you just 'aim' for one of the posts and let the assisted shooting and inflated shooting stat do the rest.

And I really did not expect the return pass from which I hit the post and James netted the rebound. That's good.

2nd CDM spot and anywhere in defence is always available. Usually depending on the numbers there's always one of the CAM, LAM, RAM spots open too.Andy wrote:What positions does this club have available, I want to rejoin
