Contract Phone Query

I'm on a 24 month contract with Carphone Warehouse for a Blackberry 9300 3G on the Orange network, basically, the Blackberry is shit and I was wondering if I sold my Blackberry to Mazuma or some shit for £50 and bought a HTC Wildfire, then put my SIM into the HTC would I be able to use my phone as before? Do I have to ring up customer services or something before doing this, and is it legal?

You can do. As long as the HTC will work with an Orange sim card. Of course it's legal. The contract pays for the your package which includes the phone, it's your phone to do what you want with.

I had the exact same thing as you, but my contract ran out 2 months ago so now i'm looking for a new phone.

I can get any phone really because my parents said they'll pay for it, but i'm not sure if an iphone is worth it so might look at that new Sony.

Yes you can aslong as the phone works on orange. Try selling your blackberry on eBay.

I get bored easily, I need something suitable for music and apps, so I think HTC is perfect, but I heard that they're in money issues.
