Yeah, I know a Latvian fella in the college I go to and he's explained to me that all male Latvian names end in the letter S so I took a quick guess.

Also his goal record is quite decent, only 26 too. It's unfortunate that Baltic players rarely get given a chance in higher leagues.

Pahars' career was wrecked by injuries, he was amazing for us when fit.

Speaking of Rudnev, HSV has signed him from Lech Poznan for like 4 or 5M or something.

He has been the only good thing going for Lech Poznan at the moment. But even his form has dropped since the winter break.

And to think not too long ago he was only the top goalscorer in Hungary.
