Couldn't envision playing with anything less than a 70 pace defender. I'd be torn apart.

Well when the game first comes out everyone skilled or not is in your league...so to go so long unbeaten is quite a good feat.

It's more about me IMO...I play less and less so when I do play I'm not as good. Biggest killer for me is my lazy tactics....holding R1 too much On FIFA 11 I used to always be teams like Watford vs Barcelona...and my record was better than it is now playing vs even teams. When your team is worse you have to focus a lot more.

Yeah sometimes I just get so casual when I play.. that I don't bother anticipating or playing hard.. just let them do whatever they want.

I mean...I can try UT but I gave it up at the start as I won 15 games in a row and it disconnected me after 90 minutes almost every time resulting in a loss. Had no problem on H2H so IDK.......

I find UT gameplay so much better than proper H2Hs.

I hate UT gameplay, kick and rush doesn't suit me.

Dislike how when my opponent counters, I have like 2 men back to deal with 4 attackers. And I don't use my defenders in attack.

They obviously tweaked shit to make it more arcade-like.. but whatever.

I generally go Ultra-defensive after taking the lead. Works. I can attack without worrying too much about getting fucked over on the counter.

I only go Ultra offensive when I am raging. On H2H I am such a fucking boss defender, but on UT my players are busy slipping on each others shoelaces and ducking out of the way of lobbed through balls/kicks from opposition gk...

Why do we play UT

Up against 88 Aguero, 87 Nani and IF Valencia. Ultra-defense it is.

I think the team building aspect of it is the only reason I play anymore.

I prefer H2H, UT is abused a lot more as has been said.

I think it would be good if they introduced the chemistry system to normal gameplay, though I would change it a lot to be more realistic.

Also....personally liked UT a lot more when it first came out and you could upgrade players yourself. But obviously there is a lot more money in it for EA this way.....

I'm glad I'm not alone in my UT opinions lol.

You're missing out on some of the best defenders in the game.

Tactics wise, ultra offensive + high pressure is only for last 10 minutes of losing games . You are incredibly susceptible to counters.

The best and easiest way to play is by sitting back...having the opposition push up high and playing counter attacking football. If the game isn't lagging (I am so desperate for a search option which allows me to only match vs people who won't lag the game..... i.e. UK only...or very low ping only etc)....then I am an absolute beast at defending...especially if I sit back..it's pretty easy.

Only thing that really does me over is lag...but it happens so often and I know it's not my connection.

I've noticed that and it's kind of annoying. There's no point of trying to control possession in this game when counter attacking is the best/easiest way of scoring.

Won 6-2, should have been double figures. Opponent committed the carnal sin of watching the replays of his penalty when I was 4-1 up.

I tend to dominate possession. Find it more relaxing that way, and the opponent is hopefully intimidated. But most of my goals are from counters.

Fact: If I see my opponent pulling his keeper during a corner.. I will score the next time.

If Kyro is about can you tell me if SIF Valencia is noticeably better than the IF?
