Chelsea vs Napoli || Champions League 2nd Leg 19:45 ITV1/HD

Walter Mazzarri's touchline ban has been lifted so the players and staff will be boosted by this as this could prove vital in a possible hostile atmosphere. Chelsea lost the first leg 3-1 in Naples and will need to win by 2 or more goals without reply. Would be a tough game for both teams, Chelsea will be wary of Napoli's fast counter attacking tactics whilst Napoli will be wary of Chelsea's strength from set pieces.

If Napoli defend the way they did on Friday... Chelsea will go through.

Saying that though, Chelsea' defence isn't so good either. Don't know what to think of this game.

Napoli's definitely got a goal in them and can see them scoring tonight for sure, but so have Chelsea. I just think that the pressure will be on Chelsea too much, the lack of pace in their defence and the fact that Napoli will have everyone behind the ball will prove difficult tonight. Going for a 2-1 victory to Napoli.

Chelsea will be very vulnerable to the counter today I think. They'll be desperate for the 2 goals they need and it would suit Napoli very nicely. Still though, it should be a tight game. Napoli will have to defend very well and not lose out on aerial battles in the box like last time out against Cagliari, all 3 goals they conceded were headers If Napoli get the away goal then you really have to back them after that.

I think Chelsea will make it actually. I know it's absurd, but they don't seem as... ineffective and impotent under Di Matteo.

They must have been incredibly impressive against Birmingham, because I watched them against Stoke and they were pretty poor. And two games, one against a Championship side, don't exactly provide a clear indication of how good they are under Di Matteo.

I'm finding it very hard to believe you actually watched the Birmingham vs Chelsea game and not the Arsenal vs Milan game

I watched more of Birmingham-Chelsea than Arsenal-Milan.

That's because the Chelsea game was on tv though.

wrong, after the liverpool mess they brought this in.. (you take the 4th place position)

UEFA subsequently ruled that the defending champions qualify for the competition the following year regardless of their domestic league placing. However, for those leagues with four entrants in the Champions League, this means that if the Champions League winner falls outside of its domestic league's top four, it will qualify at the expense of the fourth-placed team in the league. No association can have more than four entrants in the Champions League.[28]
