I really doubt that, Jela. Everton wouldn't rest players during a merseyside derby. To me, it seemed like Moyes tried to play the tactic that Liverpool have struggled against this season, with bigger, burlier players bullying us out of the game, but it didn't come off tonight.

He made 6 changes from the team that beat Spurs. He was definitely looking ahead to the FA cup tie against Sunderland. Baffling how Cahill and Osman didn't start a derby. 10 years in charge and it seems he still doesn't understand what the derby means to the fans
