This screenshot from Saturday's Leeds vs Southampton game surely comes close to a world record for the amount of people inside a 6 yard box during play, 17 in total. Laughing

Isn't it more ideal to make the goalkeeper run out to the ball? He can have a wider span and not risk using his hands.

In this move we hit the bar, hit the bar again, had a shot cleared off the line and then another one for a corner. Fuck you

Yeah but then a few of the Saints players had flown outside the box to throw themselves in the way. Laughing What was the atmosphere like by the way, definitely best of the season so far?

By far. Probably the best atmosphere since QPR last season. The first time it was quiet was in the build up to their goal. The team seemed to benefit from the noise and Southampton seemed to hate it. It should be like that more often if the Bates chants stay outside of the ground.

This has to be an indirect freekick from a backpass and also not called much things usually turn out like this when that is given. I cannot confirm or deny a record here. The number is somewhat impressive but it happens. If this would have been in the 90th minute and the team that is trailing gets an indirect freekick like this then I am sure all 22 players would be in the box.

IT wasn't an indirect free kick, just sustained pressure with corners/crosses from us so everyone just stayed back for them and forward for us. Laughing
