Well yeah, apart from that goal that Messi scored which he disallowed.Andrés wrote:Fucking referee, there better be some sort of investigation in to this game because absolutely every decision has went Barca's way.
Those types of goals always leave a bad taste in the mouth, I can't understand why referees allow them.Viva Ronaldo 7 wrote:akaranzo wrote:MESSI!!! 2-1 BARCA SCORES!

The quick free kick- could see him asking the ref tho.

He asked could he take it quickly and the ref said yes- its Atl's players fault for not paying attention.

FT 2-1 Barca win pretty poor performance but thank god we managed to grind out the win.

Atletico should have won that.... refs once again... 3 - 1 it should have been.

I didn't see the game yet, but it's not the referee's fault if a team wants to take a quick freekick and the defending team isn't ready.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Atletico should have had a penalty with hand by Busquets during a corner. Madrid still up 10 points and won a tough away game. Is good.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Usually when refs allow a quick freekick it's one two seconds after the foul. Not sure what the rule is, but allowing Messi to take it as the gk setting up his wall doesn't seem right to me.

lol at the referee talk. madrid have had huge help, the amount of pens and red cards that have gone their way has been ridiculous

There are three possibilities here.
1. You never watched the game.
2. You "support" Barcelona and you're annoyed that your team couldn't beat us in a fair game. (Hence the insult).
3. You don't know the rules of football.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Actually.......
while it may be a cheap way of scoring goals, what Messi did was well within the rules of the game. The whole point of the referee stopping play is to ensure that the wall is placed ten yards from where the kick is to be taken. So if the team taking the free kick wishes to do so, they can take the free kick at any time. Of course, they are at fault if someone is within ten yards (unless they are deliberately in the way, I think), which is the payoff to taking it quickly. Just imagine it as any other free kick around the field -- direct or indirect.
That's why teams who concede the free kick usually position someone near the ball so that they have ample time to set up the wall, and not be victim of the free kick. Its a lot of gamesmanship, and it might be in the best interest of the game to eradicate this through a rules change, but nothing that Messi did was illegal.

Re: La Liga 11/12
I know that goal was within the rules Steve, I was referring to the other incidents.
Juanfrans yellow card, Fabregas' yellow card, Adriáns offside, and Falcaos offside.
I get called a bitter cunt for pointing out that we got cheated, that's just not cool.

Stopped watching the match at 1-1, what a shame that I did because Messi's freekick was absolutely perfect, beautiful.

All I mean is that Barcelona also had decisions against them, yet you said above that "all the decisions went in their favor"
