Re: Assassins Creed 3
I'm glad there is actually an Assassin's Creed 3 because Brotherhood and Revelations both were pretty lame and were just franchise milkers. Assassin's Creed 2 was one of my favorite games ever and the only game in the series I liked.

Agreed. Having two expansions was unnecessary, and almost killed the series for me.

Re: Assassins Creed 3
I quite liked Brotherhood tbh, I was annoyed that Rome was never available except for the final sequence and I enjoyed the new feature to call your assassins, plus I think for Desmond's story it was important since Lucy died and now had the Apple of Eden in his possession, Revelations though..Yeah that unfortunately was milked from Ubisoft. Oh and I really liked AC1 at the time it came out, yeah the story was a bit repetitive but I never played parkour games in video games so it was a bit new to me and it kept me happy

Re: Assassins Creed 3
AC1 was shit compared to the others.
AC2 was amazing. Fantastic game, except left me wishing I could go to Rome.
Brotherhood was an almost perfect game. Rome was really fun to play in.
Haven't played Revelations.

They may have been milkers but they're essential for people who enjoy the story.fluffy_kittens wrote:I'm glad there is actually an Assassin's Creed 3 because Brotherhood and Revelations both were pretty lame and were just franchise milkers. Re: Assassins Creed 3
I don't think Revelations was necessary. We knew where we had to go from 'The Da Vinci disappearance' in AC Brotherhood DLC
Happy Jord? This is the only one I'm going to embedded like this

Re: Assassins Creed 3
Now that I think about it, Revelations was the one that pissed me off.
I loved exploring Constantinople, but by the time it ended I was almost wishing for the whole series to end. That's how tedious it felt.
Ubi could've easily squeezed in shit about Altair in previous installments.
Also, the old Ezio sounding like a teenager... wtf

Re: Assassins Creed 3
I actually can't believe it. I lent my brother Brotherhood (brother lol) and didn't see it for about 6 months until I got it back yesterday, went on it, and found out that I haven't even fucking completed it!
I must have got the ending mixed up with one of the others because in my head I thought I'd played it, no worries though, I've got 6 weeks off so I think I'll play it from the start.

I've been wondering about quote for so long, what the hell is Juno talking aboutWe can distract him. We can see past him. Feint left when he strikes right. But his reach is so very long. His stamina unending. We cannot evade his grasp. Not forever.

Re: Assassins Creed 3
I enjoy the story and Brotherhood and Revelations were still completely unnecessary imo. Brotherhood pissed me off, my Assassin's were so good that literally every mission I could send them in and win without doing anything.Jord wrote:They may have been milkers but they're essential for people who enjoy the story.fluffy_kittens wrote:I'm glad there is actually an Assassin's Creed 3 because Brotherhood and Revelations both were pretty lame and were just franchise milkers. Re: Assassins Creed 3
I do love the story in these games though but some stuff seems completely unneccessary.
First AC game everyone went nuts about and I thought it was repetitive as shit, still interesting and fun in ways but the story missions were basically you doing the same stuff over and over.
AC 2 though was such a step forward, it was dynamic in every way and even though the "other" AC games were lame I still have huge hopes for AC 3. The games always have so many mindfuck moments.
