Not a nice organisation, not with nice people in it, but there's a lot to be said for their stance on Islam and their right protest. Islam is a disease that needs to be wiped out, I'm just glad that Christians don't take it seriously in this country any more.

I wouldn't go to any of the marches, they're filled with knuckle dragging racist morons. Some of their tactics are pretty distasteful as well, the smears against Muslims for irrelevant things like 'Muslim rape gangs'.

This sounds interesting.

I heard on the radio this morning that they're getting sent a bill for damages cause by one of their protests that turned ugly.

They said the total cost of the damages was £180,000.

Wow. Not helping how people view english people around the world.

It's a protest group that sprang up in response to Islamists criticising dead soldiers after they tried to hold a counter-protest and got prevented. They've continued to hold protests since, and so have the Islamist organisations they're against.

Poles are different though because we are European and share western customs, traditions and cultures. The ones that want to settle in England will adopt English culture. The ones who don't are the Poles who merely work in England and have a big house in Poland and have no intentions of staying in England.

They're just people, there not this menacing 'other'. I'd rather our government show a bit of compassion to be honest rather than fuck them off back to where they came from. They can do whatever they want, that's the beauty of this being a free country, isn't it.

Patriotism is a joke anyway. It's just an excuse for people to brag about the fact that they were born somewhere, who gives a fuck, you did nothing to achieve that.

I think the main point of this thread was to agree with them on religion, not immigration.

But my post was largely directed to non-European immigrants. Europeans will always have a much easier transition into other European societies than non-Europeans.

From my experience Polish are not a problem at all.

They work....they pay tax....ok a lot of them speak Polish amongst themselves but they do 99% of the time know English, and are completely open to using it to talk to other people. If I'm in Spain and I'm a 1st generation English person talking to English people, obviously I'm going to speak English. If they stay around for 20 years and bring up a new generation, those people will be 10000x better than the general filth, many of which aren't just immigrants....but English.

If anything, I have had more problems with Lithuanian, Romanian, Albanian/Kosovans etc...though the worst are Somalians and similar such people. I do know some good people from that area though, but the amount of people from there that deserve no respect is so high that I barely feel guilty generalising.
