No Lennon?
Thought he was back fit??
4-4-2 despite saying he was worried about being outnumbered in midfield again
Friedel
Walker Kaboul King BAE
Kranjcar Parker Modric Bale
Ade Saha
Walker Kaboul King BAE
Kranjcar Parker Modric Bale
Ade Saha
No vdV either despite saying he was fit. Can only assume he doesn't want to rush Lennon and vdV back.

For once I would say Arsenal are the underdogs in this tie

Parker's going to destroy Arteta if he pushes up, the last time someone chased him all game he could barely make 5 yard passes and that's all he's good for tbh

I would have put AOC up against Kranjcar and Walker tbh. Kranjcar will cut in a lot and Walker can be suspect defensively at times.
I imagine Ade will drop deep like he did against Newcastle with Saha leading the line more.

Benayoun to just sit deep into our half and babysit that dickhead Gibbs. Wenger did the same thing with Rosicky against Milan and that worked out brilliantly.

It feels weird being being second best.Laurencio wrote:For once I would say Arsenal are the underdogs in this tie
But we have been the better club for fucking ages though so Tottenham have got a lot of catching up to do.

Maybe we're keeping Lennon and VDV on the bench to try and win it at later on if we need to. Lennon v tiring players = devastating.

Silent Stan will be attending for the 2nd Arsenal game in his life? I think it's 2 anyway

But Lennon up against Gibbs for 90 mins = devastating

I don't think Spurs will win here.

If Theo is playing down the center we are doomed.

Wait. Wenger is changing formation? Surely that is a wind up?

Maybe he doesn't want to risk them if they've just come back, but this XI did play really well last time v Newcastle. So I think we'll be alright.Point wrote:easley91 wrote:Maybe we're keeping Lennon and VDV on the bench to try and win it at later on if we need to. Lennon v tiring players = devastating.

Still say 2-2.

Yosef Benayoun would appear to be playing off van Persie.

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Miquel, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Park, Chamakh.
That is such a weak bench.

Not really, Chamberlain and Gervinho can have good impacts.Novi, The Creator wrote:Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Miquel, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Park, Chamakh.

Why didn't he do this when he had Arshavin? His performances in the hole for Russia are exceptional.

Wait, Sandro on the bench??!?
Read he was out of the match altogether. Sandro to come on and do some Karate.

Where are you getting that he'll play Benayoun off van Persie? He'll play on the wing like he's always done with us.

Wouldn't say that, plenty of game changers on there.

Yeah, in 2008. He's been utter piss for them for a while now.
