EA lose license for UEFA game
Apparently it was given to Double Helix Games, never heard of them. Seems like they're focusing on FIFA Street.

Double Helix are awful, but i guess that Warner Brothers have dished out an unreasonable amount of money for this.

Double Helix games are a good company. I think this will be a great game.

Re: EA lose license for UEFA game
To be fair, Double Helix Games do have a phenomenal track record. With timeless classics such as G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Front Mission Evolved and Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, I wouldn't put it beyond them to make a top quality game for the upcoming EURO's.

This, also the engine and mechanics will be completely different, I'll judge after we got some infos and the demo, most likely occupied with FIFA 12 and FIFA Street though.Sean wrote:Im interested to see what the players will look like.

I'd laugh if it kicked FIFA's ass in terms of gameplay.

Maybe this'll persuade EA to put some more fucking effort into their games and servers.

Well that makes no sense, why would this make them do that?
Double Helix have no experience with sports games, hell they have no experience making a good game.

If someone else makes a good football game it'd give EA more competition. PES has been horrendous.

If EA suddenly had the rights back they wouldn't just make a shitty download.

The Euro 2012 game will be downloadable content. EA are still doing it.
