Banega gets run over... by his own car

alencia midfielder Ever Banega will need ankle surgery after he was run over by his own car.

The 23-year-old failed to set the handbrake on his car causing it roll back and trap his foot.

The Argentina international was already ruled out of the squad to face Barcelona in Sunday's La Liga clash with an ongoing knee problem.

"The player has suffered an automobile mishap after training and will have an operation on an injury to his ankle this afternoon," according to a club statement.

Valencia are set to face Stoke City in the second leg of their Europa League clash on Thursday.
