Hopefully he will Liam. Would mean he probably wouldn't play vs Norwich.

At least he can do something out of nothing. Young was constantly going backwards and Hernandez was just being his usual self.

Young also scored.
Both have come back from injury recently, so they're not going to be 100%.

It gives me strokes, him and Jones look awkward when going forwardKuled wrote:I like when he goes forward.

Nah, Jones is known for going forward so I'm ok with that. As for Evans, well he's been moving into space with the ball lately and I feel so uncomfortable but he's actually done well when he did that

I don't get this whole Jones looks awkward going forward thing.
I still think Evans could pass the ball a little quicker. Still seems he doesn't know where he's going to pass when he receives the ball. His attempted pass to Nani just before half time for example.

quite a few posts here stupider than those Germans that were sitting behind me. A few thoughts on the match
First off: Nani, LOL more or less contained most the match by Koppers (3rd first team start) and Boilesen. Both 20 years old.
2nd: Vermeer and Siem De Jong needs to go if Ajax ever wants to win a trophy again. Sure De Jongs shot on De Gea was good and had a few defensive actions, but he was mostly in the way, not ready on his feet the only one reciving passes worse than him was Bulykin but every Ajax fan everywhere already knew that.
3rd: Özbiliz needs to pass more (& better) and lose the ball less to his direct opponent, sure he has the skill to pass Eredivise backs but United backs were better than that and mostly just ended up losing the ball when he went at it alone.
4th: Vertonghen, showed a lot of good and received nice praise when heading forward and passing united players with skill or simply running , but some of his actions in defense still has everyone facepalm. Alderweireld also went up like that to some extend but still have a few years to correct his mistakes, Vertonghen has been expected to leave for nearly 2 years now.
5th Eriksen: In very short, needs a better club with teammates that can finish, make runs and not pass back. Preferably keep up with him, his 1 good run that sadly didn't end so well could have led to something without the injuries for our "new" attacking players or if the current ones could actually keep up. Don't know where Sulejmani was in that whole sequence. Ajax displays has lately turned me a bit bitter and value Denmark's Eriksen above Ajax''s Eriksen.
6th Ajax: Shooting practice for the next week. And why bring on Lukoki who apparently only has one feature, running fast and picking up the ball when there is no opposing player in a 15m radius, Loderio for De Jong had made more sense.
Still despite the frustrations, we were matching United most of the way in first half and as soon as Ajax started to make relegation team like mistakes that was up, it was entertaining, the atmosphere was good even if you could hear the United fans from time to time. Was almost all the way up under the roof and still best view of any stadium I've been to (best seats till in FC Nordsjælland, so comfy)

This was Nani's first game back after nearly a month out with injury.

Muhkoo, where does Van Rhijn play? He came on for Bulykin I believe but where did he play then?

He is a bit like Vertonghen, can play in Defense or as a Defensive midfielder, he also makes good deep runs from his position which have earned him quite a few goals on the youth teams and had a good effort right after he came on last night. I guess he was subbed on as a right/defensive midfielder as De Jong was >moved< up front.
