Watched the entire series 1, in about three days.
Loved it. Damiel Lewis and Claire Danes are fantastic.
Best series I have seen in a long, long time. Really can not wait till Series 2 this September.

Re: Homeland
Original, Israeli version of this called "Hatufim" (or Prisoners of War) is showing on Sky Arts at the moment.
First two episodes were pretty good.....I would recommend it. It's interesting to see how the US version was changed to fit it's audience.

I've watched an episode each night for the last 9 days, great show. The blonde woman over acts all the time but Brody is fucking immense.

Re: Homeland
She goes well over the top in normal one on one conversations. I realize you are obviously too thick to understand that though. Also you're probably butthurt I said something negative about the program.

Re: Homeland
Over-acts? She won every award there is to win with her portrayal of Carrie Mathison. But then again, she isn't a muscular man which means she's not capable of acting well, am I right, Chris?

Re: Homeland
She goes well over the top in a lot of scenes, it's almost like one second it's a normal conversation and the next she is screaming uncontollably and swearing for no reason, it's not realistic at all unless she has a mental condition.
These days all you have to do is shed a tear or act like an absolute spastic to win an award, so it doesn't surprise me.
Her good friend and colleague who she is talking to normally in his house when his wife is there, then suddenly she goes like this as if she had a mood swing in 1 second..

I give it a shot but it's not my thing. Winters should go back to Band of Brothers.
