how do you know terry made the racist remark, there are a few things he could be saying. Suarez also said he did not mean it in an offensive manner.He got the ban for using the word not the way he used it in his language.
Why do you call him a racist if he did not even abuse Evra and it is a misunderstanding?

We can't be sure but it's still better proof than a player's story about what happened.

So is it okay for people to call Evra a "nigger" on a football pitch but as long as they state they meant it in a different context it's okay ?
8 matches is a tad bit harsh. Should have been 5/6 with a big fine but he really can't complain. He broke the rules and got punished. Simples

They were arguing. They have both admitted to that.
In what possible context does calling someone a "negro" during an argument constitute a friendly gesture? Or better yet, when do the words that were written in the referees report "Tu es negro" ever constitute a friendly comment while in an argument? Those words were not given to him by Evra either, they were given by Dalglish and Comolli speaking on behalf of Saurez.
