Overrated. Couldnt cut it at Milan or Madrid.

Wouldn't suprise me if he did get it, very good striker.

He'll struggle to get into the team ahead of Luuk, and Van Persie will probably just pip Huntelaar to the coveted position on the bench.

He looks better than he is because he's playing with the legend Raul.

But srs he has been fantastic for Schalke this season. Don't think he will get the Golden Boot though, I think Van Persie or Gomez will get it.

He didn't get that much time at Milan. The bulk of his appearances were made off the bench. He's been great in the Bundesliga though.

In fairness, I think he was either the leading scorer or just behind the leading scorer in the qualifiers for the EUROs. He's a good striker, but he has no right to be starting ahead of Robin.

van Marwijk has often opted for a lone striker though. It'll be interesting to see what he does at the Euros.

4-2-3-1 would be better, imo.

It'd be interesting to see how Elia makes it off the Juve bench and into the Dutch starting XI.

De Jong doesn't even play anymore (good decision), they use Strootman now. In a couple of recent matches, van Persie was shoved onto the wing and Huntelaar up front. Van Persie's pretty poor there though and they shouldn't compromise what is probably the world's hottest striker at the moment. Elia's barely played and Affelay's been out all year, so maybe Kuyt will end up on that left wing yet again.
