Gerrard,Ferdinand and Lampard are all still good enough for England, i don't see why people think Youngsters should start, if they are good enough they should be getting experience for their club and then getting a called up for the National team.

Anyone with a brain knows he should be playing, personally i'd rather he didn't as i'd rather him prolong his club career but if people don't want him in the squad, so be it, they can happily watch England fail aswell

Gerrard isn't good enough or young for England but Scott Fucking Parker is good and young enough to be the captain. Mind boggling.

None of them will be at Brazil in 2014.

I'd probably have all of them in a squad for Euros, and definitely start Rio though.

And youngsters are good enough. Jones, Smalling, Welbeck, Sturridge, Cleverley (when fit) etc.. all start regularly in the Premier League.

Gerrard should be starting at Euro's, if they actually want to try and win it, Rio is England's best CB aswell.
