Define successful?
Bearing in mind that a few Scottish titles are nothing compared to European triumphs.
For example, teams such as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona, Celtic, Inter, Feyenoord, Man Utd.

Celtic's team is shaping up nicely at the moment. Wanyama does a great job of sitting back so that the rest of the team can burst forward and attack without having to worry. They look unbeatable at the moment. The title is in the bag.

If Rangers go into liquidation though, they can't be the most successful club, as they will no longer be a club at all.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:Kuled wrote:You haven't won anything relevant to the challenges Man United, Real Madrid, Barcelona etc have won

Even if we were hit with a £49million tax bill and couldn't pay it, we'd have things to sell. Most notably Ibrox for a few hundred million, with it being one of only a handful of Europe's 5 star rated stadiums.

You sell it to someone, i.e. a company, the council etc and then rent it back.

They're going to want you to pay a lot for it though. Anyway, that's not going to happen. If it was as easy as that, then why haven't Rangers already done it.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:cheesy wrote:Great idea. Where will you then play?

Because the tax case is only a possibility, we don't have debt just now. Therefore no need for money.
Please, please don't be as bad as maestro etc and post daily rhebel papers etc lol.

I'm not going to be a deluded fan who claims to have inside knowledge that Rangers are screwed and all that stuff. You surely have to recognise that this is a massive threat to Rangers though. Admin looks certain at the very least. It's probably a safer bet, but the possibility of liquidation does exist.

Admin doesn't worry me, not that bad. Just means that we possibly need to sell some things. Liquidation is not possible.

It's estimated you're around £42m in debt.
With two tax bills looming, one for £50m and the other about £25m

£75million? Where the fuck did you pluck this number from?
It's £49million and we have no debt.

Re: Hearts v Celtic Sky Sports 1
Admin should worry you. It should really worry you. You're millions of pounds in debt. You can't guarantee that anyone's going to want to take the stadium. If you can't pay it off, admin is a certainty. Liquidation is then an outside possibility.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:cheesy wrote:I'm not going to be a deluded fan who claims to have inside knowledge that Rangers are screwed and all that stuff. He seems to be plucking figures from thin air, but still, £49m is a lot of money. You can't just get rid of that by selling a couple of things.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:Cheesy, just look at that deluded cunt. £75million? What the fuck?

Could make a lot of money from the likes of Naismith, Davis, McGregor, Edu, Aluko, Whittaker, Wallace, Papac etc.

Re: Hearts v Celtic Sky Sports 1
money from Ticketus to pay the £18m debt to Lloyds Bank as part of his takeover.
"So the club should at this moment in time be £42m is debt. Is that correct?" he asked.
"What is the issue with respect to administration? Who is the secured creditor?
"It would be difficult for me to understand if Ticketus, in lending this money to Rangers, didn't request and get a secured position?
Sorry I meant the other bill is £2.5m not £25m

What is that?
Just some random story that you made up, please do continue the muck-raking. You will be the loser, I will come out with my head held high when we compromise a figure. i.e. £20million possibly?

Source? Exactly, some newspaper article.
